Volunteer to Help Veterans in New Jersey and Florida

“I just wanted to say thank you so much for what you did for us last night with the toys.

You have no idea what that means to me and my family. I really, really appreciate it.”

~ Kristina Douglas, Army wife and mother

Project Help has many volunteer opportunities for you.  If you have a few hours a month and want to do something really awesome for a veteran, we can place you in a function that is very helpful to Project Help as we work to achieve our mission of providing support services for veterans and their families.

Examples of volunteer opportunities could be database and research work, helping at a variety of events during the year, phone calls and administrative work, organization of our storage unit and keeping the Project Help Mobile Closet up to snuff.

You can be named as an ambassador to deliver letters and other items to companies such as Walmart, ShopRite and others, where you are simply handing materials to a person in charge.  Our target goal for volunteers is 50.  Since most have limited time and experience our need is more than if we pre-qualified volunteers.  Our best volunteers, often move on to joining a committee and some actually become board of director members.
