As the temperatures drop, many veterans working to rebuild their lives face challenges that go beyond recovery. This winter, we can make a difference by helping ensure they have the warm clothing they need to face the colder months with comfort and dignity.

Project Help is collecting winter clothing donations for recovering veterans residing at the Lyons VA Hospital and housing facility.

We welcome the following donations:

NEW OR GENTLY USED: coats, jackets, sweatshirts, sweaters, fleece, gloves, scarves and boots
NEW ONLY: hats and socks

Every donation, big or small, can provide warmth, comfort, and a reminder to a veteran that their community cares.

Let’s come together this winter to support those who have served our country. Your generosity can help a veteran feel warmer, stronger, and supported on the road to recovery.

Donations are being collected between November 1 and December 10, 2026.
